The Destinations of Standards-based Grading *90 Minute Session

This session introduces an approach to advancing best practices in classroom assessment and grading that allows a school or district to choose which best practices destination or destinations along a progressive continuum of options, from tightening up traditional grading practices to a complete transformation to standards-based grading, it wants to move toward and at what pace. Details on essential components of the different destinations will be provided along with tips on the time, planning, support, and communication needed to successfully implement each targeted destination. 

The session is based on the ASCD book (2016), "Charting a Course to Standards-Based Grading: What to Stop, What to Start, and Why It Matters."
